LCYC is looking for the next all star advocate for youth and children.
Legal Counsel for Youth and Children (LCYC) protects the rights, interests, and safety of youth and children. We provide holistic, direct legal services to youth in child welfare and juvenile offender matters. We also serve immigrant youth and families, as well as youth, ages 12 - 24 years, who are or are at risk of homelessness in King County.
TODAY LCYC is looking for an exceptional 3L law student to apply jointly for an Equal Justice Work Fellowship. We are seeking applicants who reflect the diversity of the youth we serve. Although we are excited to hear innovative project ideas from student applicants, it is not necessary that you have a specific fellowship project in mind in order to apply. The selected applicant will work closely with LCYC staff to develop the fellowship project and create the application.
If your dream is to graduate law school and become an advocate for youth please review the details about this exciting opportunity through the link below. LCYC will select a 3L with whom to partner on an EJW application on or before September 7, 2018. We will review applications on a rolling basis and encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
Thank you for your interest,
