Melissa Morrison (MPA)
Melissa attended University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA where she received her BA in Communications. After graduation she moved to Northwest and received her Masters in Public Administration from Seattle University.
Melissa joined LCYC in 2014. Melissa began her career in public service at the Department of Social and Health Services in the community service offices before becoming a social service specialist with Children’s Administration. Melissa then joined Pierce County’s Department of Assigned Counsel as a social service specialist working with parents involved in the dependency process.
Melissa enjoys volunteering in the community. Currently, Melissa is on the board of directors for the New Phoebe House Association and the Prison Pet Partnership. Melissa also volunteers as an assistance speech and debate coach for a local high school.
